On February 20th, Trident Banquet Hall had the pleasure of hosting the annual Silver Creek Preschool Information Night. Since 1975, Silver Creek has provided a positive pre-school setting for children with physical and developmental challenges, with programs that focus on therapeutic services such as music, physio, occupational, speech and language.

The goal for this evening was to provide fresh insights for existing members of the program and to educate interested attendees. The open house set-up of the event encouraged flowing conversations, especially for new parents of a child with a disability to meet other families and ask questions. For this event, the client opted for a self-serve coat rack instead of a staffed booth. We provided a stage for speakers, theatre-style seats for attendees and long tables along the back and sides of the room for vendors to display their information. Food was served buffet-style for guests who wanted to have a snack, including various meats, cheeses, crackers, desserts and a dipping station. Round tables were arranged so that attendees could place their plates down, take notes and converse with others. Lastly, as a part of the client’s rental package, Trident Banquet hall provided high quality AV equipment such as projectors, speakers and background music.

Overall, the event had been a wonderful experience for all parties involved. Attendees were able to learn about the different programs at Silver Creek and meet some of the dedicated teachers, therapists, office staff and community volunteers who are involved. We hope to see you again next year, Silver Creek.
